Congratulations Rachel Grice, our December 2011 Employee of the Month for the Niles-Buchanan YMCA! She's a member of our Housekeeping staff, and Rachel couldn't be more deserving of this honor. If you've been here in the late afternoon or evening, you've probably seen her as she works hard to help keep our facility looking great. At 75 years old, she really enjoys her job and it shows.
Every Thanksgiving, hundreds of runners have gathered in Niles to run in the Thanksgiving Day Run in support of the Y's financial assistance fund and this year was no different. Many families and friends spent their Thanksgiving day being healthy while raising money for a critical social service in our Niles community. We had a great time and we hope you did to. Are you one of those people that likes to put off training until the last minute? If so you better get moving because our Thanksgiving Day Run is only one month away! Every Thanksgiving, hundreds of runners have gathered in Niles to run in our annual Thanksgiving Day Run in support of the Y's 
Congratulations Dominique Ellis our Niles-Buchanan YMCA October Employee of the Month! Most of you parents might know Dominique from the Babysitting Room. Dominique is a Babysitting Supervisor, and she also works at the Wellness Desk. Her love of kids really shows when she is working, and the kids really love her too! We are lucky to have her on staff here.
