As a young person with your whole life ahead of you, having the right guidance and support can make a real difference in figuring out who you are and what you can achieve. Whether kids come to the Y looking to explore their interests, or for support in navigating challenges, the Y is committed to nurturing children and teens and roots for their success.


ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT


All kids have great potential. At the Y, we help them set and achieve their educational goals. They gain confidence as they recognize the Y as a place where they belong and can feel comfortable exploring new interests and passions. Teaching kids to paint, write, sing, and act fosters self-expression, dialogue, critical thinking, and greater achievements in academia. Of equal importance, the Arts & Humanities calm and excite us and generate opportunities for inspiration and joy.

To support and encourage our youth, we offer training and programs that they need to further personal development and ultimately become role models who pursue and inspire positive community and environmental change. Youth will build confidence, feel pride and take a greater responsibility for their surroundings.

YOUTH WELLNESS


We feel that providing wellness options for all ages is an important piece of supporting families in our community. We try to provide classes that can help build an interest and enjoyment in personal fitness that a child can take with them as they grow into adults. Workouts in the Wellness Center, as well as fun group classes make up our youth wellness offerings.
