Child Watch
 Enjoy a good work out or period of relaxation while your children play, explore and learn with experienced, caring YMCA staff. Drop-in Child Watch is more than a babysitting service. During each child's stay Y staff members provide learning experiences in a fun environment. They are trained to teach your child fine and gross motor skills, socialization and how to make healthy choices. Snacks are also provided at designated times. Niles-Buchanan YMCA Drop-In Child Watch is a FREE service to our Members while you are at the Y. You can join a class or other activities with your child safely in the care of trained Y staff. Non-Members participating at the Y may use this service at the rate of $2/hour for one child and $1/hour for each additional child. Child Watch Hours of Operation
Parents should check with Child Watch to determine availability before dropping off their child. Space is allocated on a first-come, first-accepted basis. When the room is full, it may be necessary to wait until a space is vacated. Parents provide each child with diapers. If, in the opinion of the staff, the Child Watch environment is an inappropriate placement for a child, the parent may be asked to withdraw the child. The Center reserves the right to cancel babysitting on any given day due to unavailability of staff. Child Watch may limit the number of children in the room for safety reasons.
