The Niles-Buchanan YMCA is a non-profit, health and human services organization committed to helping people reach their full potential in spirit, mind and body. The YMCA is here to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes. The YMCA is community based and believes its programs and services should be available to everyone. The financial assistance/scholarship is available to those who are in financial need. This program offers a sliding fee scale designed to fit each individual's financial situation.
Proceeds from the annual fundraising campaign, Strong Kids Campaign, provide funds for this program. The Y believes recipients of financial assistance take a strong sense of ownership and pride when they contribute to the cost of their Y membership. Applicants will be asked to pay a portion of their membership.
